Hygiene Kits Chair
Stacey Dillree is the chairman of our Hygiene program, which was developed to help meet the basic hygiene needs of underprivileged and at-risk youth in the Las Vegas Valley. She moved to Las Vegas 13 years ago from Layton, Utah and is the proud mother of a 13 year-old son. Stacey loves instilling within him the values of service and giving back to your community.
Stacey’s passion for service and helping others started in her early adolescence, when she was blessed to be exposed to many service opportunities through her church and other youth leadership positions aimed at serving the community. That passion has flourished and she continues to volunteer with many local organizations in Las Vegas. Stacey started working with B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. in April of 2017. She was drawn to the foundation for a variety of reasons including, the integrity displayed within SHERO and due to it being an all-volunteer organization. Stacey is a survivor herself and has a passion for eliminating human trafficking and exploitation forever. Serving with B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. has helped Stacey find confidence in vocalizing her advocacy, and personal exposure to many of the causes that SHERO supports.
After years serving with nonprofits and the community, she is aware of the importance of collaboration between these two entities. SHERO’s efforts to support collaboration and eliminate duplication of services is very important in order to maximize both efficiency and impact. Taking part in connecting these dots is a pleasure and an honor for her.
In addition to being a community advocate and a mother, Stacey is also a local business owner and soft tissue specialist. Stacey started her business, The Power of Touch, 7 years ago and is very grateful for the role she plays in her patient’s healing journey. She graduated from Nevada College of Massage Therapy in 2005 and started working with post-graduate athletes. She has worked in many different therapy settings including resort hotels on the Las Vegas strip. Her passion for healing led to her opening her own practice allowing her to customize her own approach to helping patients. She is proud to have spent 5 years training with John Barnes and his Myofascial Release Approach to healing the connective tissue and the body as a whole. She has a passion for knowledge and is consistently expanding upon her skill set.
Stacey has a zeal for playing tennis, and so she spends a reasonable amount of time playing USTA league recreational tennis. In addition, she enjoys yoga, Pilates, and spending time with her son. She has a love for traveling, experiencing other cultures, and hopes to see as much of the world as possible. Stacey is a culinary aficionado who appreciates the diverse culinary experiences we are blessed with in Las Vegas. She also has a passion for health and is committed to her own growth and development to self-actualization.
