Alexandra Goldie was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has always carried a strong sense of community and compassion for others. Growing up in Las Vegas, Alexandra became aware of sex trafficking from a young age and saw firsthand how it affects vulnerable individuals within her city.
Alexandra is currently a pre-med student in college, where she was introduced to the topic of public health. These public health systems intersect with human trafficking, focusing on how early intervention and access to care can protect at risk individuals. Her studies have deepened her understanding of sex trafficking and how it connects to poverty, social inequalities, and access to healthcare. These insights have inspired her to advocate for prevention and survivor support through education and community outreach.
Alexandra is excited to take on the role of Teen Liaison, bringing empathy, leadership, and dedication to every opportunity to make a difference in the lives of teens.
Outside of her academics, Alexandra expresses herself through creating artwork and painting. She uses it as an outlet for reflection and storytelling. She also enjoys spending time by the beach, finding peace and inspiration in nature.
The superhero Alexandra identifies most with is Catwoman. She represents independence and resilience which are important qualities to have. She also is extremely clever and stylish which align with Alexandra’s creative side.
