Marcie Goodin is the president of Balancing Wellness, a health and wellness educator, registered nurse, mother of 2 beautiful teenage daughters, and a philanthropist who is dedicated to helping others learn to help themselves.
Marcie is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. She used her G.I. bill to receive her Bachelors of Science, Nursing degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). She is currently a nurse consultant for Access Med Solutions, Inc.,assisting a pharmacist review long-term care facilities, rehabs and hospices before State reviews commence.
Marcie held the position as President of her Homeowners Association from 2005-2013, and then stepped down, but continues to be an active board member.
In 2007 Marcie became a certified group exercise and aqua fitness instructor. In 2011, she completed a Pilates certification in rehabilitation and conditioning exercise utilizing D.K. Body Balancing Method of Pilates through the UNLV Department of Dance. The following year, Marcie completed 200 hours of yoga training through world renowned YogaFit Trainings making her a well rounded health and fitness educator. Marcie was given the opportunity to create a Pilates P.E. course at UNLV in September 2011 and has since taught hundreds of students.
In October 2015, Marcie joined a dynamic group to help promote B.E. A. S.H.E.R.O. Foundation where she eventually took on the alter ego of Elastigirl. Her powers of flexibility, both physically and mentally, help her continue to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.
