LAS VEGAS, NV — June 10, 2024. The Clark County Medical Society Alliance is honored to announce its selection of the B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation as the beneficiary for the Clark County Medical Society Alliance’s fundraising efforts from June 1st, 2024, through the 23rd Annual Fashion Show Luncheon held in the spring of 2025. The coveted Las Vegas social event will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

The Clark County Medical Society Alliance is made up of physicians and family members of physicians who work towards a healthier community. CCMSA represents the family of medicine today in Southern Nevada, providing leadership and knowledge vital to community mental, physical, and social wellbeing. Anita Koka, the newly inaugurated president of CCMSA, stated, “Choosing the B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation was an obvious and heartfelt decision. The Foundation’s commitment to healing and empowering victims of human trafficking aligns with our mission to foster a healthier community. Their comprehensive approach in providing medical, emotional, and practical support to victims not only helps restore their health but also reintegrates them into society as whole individuals.” Co-President, Dr. Annette Seifzad agrees.

Funds raised throughout 2024/2025 fiscal year, including the much anticipated 2025 CCMSA Annual Fashion Show Luncheon will support SHERO’s programs including the SHERO Shield, SHERO Sanctuary, SHERO Spirit, and SHERO Skills Programs, which form a coordinated community response to the traumatizing human trafficking epidemic affecting Nevada. SHERO provides victims of human trafficking with vital medical resources, emergency medical care, emotional first aid, STD testing, counseling, and psychiatric care as well as housing, basic needs, food, and transportation. Additionally, SHERO offers trafficking awareness training to increase identification and improve responses from community agencies and professionals serving children. “We are thrilled that the B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation will be the beneficiary of the Clark County Medical Society Alliance’s 23rd Annual Fashion Show Luncheon as it’s a huge stride for both organizations and our medical community,” stated Kimberly Miles, Founder of SHERO.
